Grace Cheung lives and works architecture in Taipei. Born in Malaysia, she has lived in 9 cities on 3 continents, travelled to many more for both work and leisure, speaking 3 languages and 2 Asian dialects. Besides cooking, motoring, fashion, music, art and English bulldogs, her creative outlet is XRANGE, an architecture and design office founded by her and Royce Hong in 2003, and selected as one of “101 of the most exciting young architects in the world” in 2007 by Wallpaper magazine.
Royce Hong is an occasional photographer, long time motoring enthusiast, designer by training, entrepreneur by circumstance, and bona fide architecture voyeur by osmosis. Born in the USA, he lives, slaves away and creates gadgets and things in Taipei for most of his life. He has a two-headed day job at XRANGE and IPEVO, a creator of cool hardwares and tools for the connected world.
Roy Hong is the dog wonder of the above humans. An English Bulldog born in the Year of the Goat with a tiger-striped brindle coat, he was sometimes mistaken by others as a cat during his puppy years. He now thinks he is the king of the jungle in his secret garden.
